Ability to edit thread titles please

Please can this be turned on? It's frustrating when you make a typo, and it can help in Classifieds threads when something is sold (or a posted price is changed)

If I click Edit on the first post of a topic I start and then "Go Advanced" I can change the title. Does everyone not have that option?

It doesn't change the thread title.

for example I just did it on the first post - it changes the Post title - not the Thread title

Ah. Never used it- just assumed that was the function.

I too would like to see this feature, for the reasons mentioned! It would particularly help in the classifieds thread.

I found that I can edit thread title a la http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2mpD0S5GsaY (I did it in this thread : http://www.musicradar.com/forum/show...930#post946930) BUT there seems to be a time limit as I can't change the title of any of the threads I posted a while back. This seems to be the 'Time Limit on Editing of Thread Title' option?

So maybe if this were bumped to a month's worth of minutes, or something?

But I've never been a vBulletin mod so I may be missing something.

Anyway it would be great if we could edit titles for, say a month... (43 829 minutes!)

Yup- I just tried it on an old thread and a new one. Double clicking works if you're the only poster, but as soon as someone else posts it's fixed
