Hayden Petite blonde
Hi, When you reviewed the Hayden petite blonde a while ago did it have a good clean sound at room volume at bedroom volumes or was it breaking up. It is hard to tell how loud 2 (Albeit valve watts) are sometimes.

Volume is a much about projection as volume: an AC30 is louder than a Marshall 100MDFX!
It was a good all-round amp, but it is designed to be turned up full to get a nice crunch without shattering the windows.
If you do want a clean tone, maybe try out the new Laney Lionheart 5-watt combo: that's really nice! At that wattage, there should be more headroom than with the Ashdown (sorry...Hayden).

Also, I have come to notice that there are extreme similarities between the Hayden and Matamp Minimat circuits...Same tubes/watts etc. Is it the same design :?:
