What is the neck profile like?
    Is this a slim 60's type neck or a 50's handful ?

    Thanks

    quite slim,

certainly not in bass ball bat land, not quite a shredder, but certainly thin enough to do speed comfortably.

I can get a side on shot against my other telecasters to get some comparison if that helps

    Wow that is lovely!

Was thinking about sticking a mini hum in the neck of my CV Tele.

That would be great. Thanks. I'm in Sussex. If you were nearby I could come and take a look . .

Strange one this - Sometime ago I bought a Warmoth Tele from fellow forum member Astor which I absolutely love.

As a result I subsequently contacted darcym to enquire about this guitar advertised for sale. We agreed a sale and agreed to make arrangements to exchange cash and guitar at a mutually convenient time and place. We exchanged telephone numbers and spoke two or three times on the phone.
Initially there was difficulty contacting DARCYM as he was out of the UK on business. However since the last time we spoke which was about 3 or 4 days before Christmas I have been unable to contavt him despite every effort via mobile phone voicemail, text, e-mail, PM on this forum etc etc. During this period he has posted several comments on this forum, entries on his website and numerous tweets.
I therefore believe and hope that there has been nothing extraordinary or unfortunate in his life.

If he doesn't wish to sell and has changed his mind - No problem but am I being old fashioned in expecting a little courtesy and politeness by a short e-mail, pm, voicemail, or whatever to inform of that?

    Am I missing something?

I have had plenty of this sort of thing. (not darcym I might add). It seems some people feel the way to tell you that they no longer want to complete a deal, is to ignore correspondence. Yet, as Jim says, continue happily posting away on the forum.

I have had several guitars boxed up, sent bank details and that sort of thing, only to then be ignored. I won't name names, but I do think there are some serial offenders for this, judging by a few comments I have seen in PM's from other forumites.

I think the internet makes bad manners easier. And I have the Ska's to prove it. (sorry, couldn't resist)

Default Lack of response by certain forum members.

    Stevie

Appreciate your response and am glad that it is not just me being paranoid or missing something obvious.
Treating people how you would like to be treated it would seem is is not necessarily the norm.

Got to say if I had a little bit more cash knocking about I would be sorely tempted by both your esquire and/or the DGT which I have been admiring from afar.

    Best wishes..........Jim.
