Hey, ive got a guitar with some autographs on it i want to remove, what would be the best way to remove these without damaging the guitar? they are writen in silver marker.

Be careful, but lighter fluid and a soft cloth should work OK.

Try a small amount of fluid on an area of the guitar that doesn't matter so much (round the back, maybe?) to see if it damages anything.

If your guitar is finished with nitro-cellulose, be extra specially careful: use less fluid than you'd think, ALWAYS apply it to the cloth only and go slowly!

Problem solved, used a bit of cheap deoderant, it worked a treat, took the pen straight off n didnt damage my baby lol!!
