WTF? 12A? Noooo, it'll be rubbish!

Actually, not that bad. They've removed the graphic violence that would make it an 18, but there's plenty of thriller left (car chases, suspense, etc). It would have been nicer, though, ii they'd aimed for a 15 if they'd wanted a wider audience.

Taken lite - I'd have preferred the full-fat version.
I haven't seen it but I keep hearing the ad on the radio, Liam neeson saying
'it's just like last time, only worse'

It's just like the last time, only more of a cynical cash-in.

The first one was because it was slightly grittier, he was a nasty man who happened to have a family member to save. He's killed and tortured for a living, so when things go bad he has skills to fall back on. The fighting was brilliant and brutal.

By making it a 12A they pretty much guarantee more money - from the popularity of the last one - but also that it wont be as gritty or nasty.

    Clash of the Titans -

um... that guy from avatar was pretending to be Jason Statham...

IO... if there is a role for an attractive women who's faces cannot express the full range of emotions who's death has a significant effect on the leading man, Gemma Arterton will be playing that character.

Ralph Feines - I get it, you've to bills to pay.

Liam Neeson - CGI makes you look like Beast Jesus...

I don't know why he didn't just move to France with her where he could legally bang her shitless. I could see where they were going with it, but it seemed a bit preaching to the choir. Quite good for the moments where he does stuff you'd just love to.

Kiss Kiss Bang Bang is one of my favourites. Gay Perry FTW.

Last film I watched was The Guard. Brendan Gleeson is brilliant and his character is very well written. Don Cheadle is Don Cheadle.

Hellraiser: Hellseeker - 7/10 - Suprisingly not bad. Man has car crash, wife missing... there's cenobites involved... a sort of horror/sci-fi/who-dun-it. And of course - Pinhead (though dissapointingly no-one yells "Jesus Christ" only for him to say in that sinister way "not quite!" and not once did he say "If you lie to me, I'll tear your soul appart!" - seriously him and Toby Todd's Candyman voices are up there with Vincent Price's voice for me)

Hellraiser VII: Deader - ?? - still watching, but so far has had a really nice bit of lesbian almost-sex

Looper - 8/10 - Really enjoyable sci-fi time travelley kind of film. Lots of the time-travel related goings on make sense, the effects are good, everything is pretty... the ending was wrong, but aside from that it was fine. Yes, the ending didn't make sense as it's a paradox, even though earlier in the film they show what happens if you alter the past at all... so was a lazy and poorly written ending, which I'm convinced was just lifted from another film one of the actors had been in previously. Can't go into any more detail without spoiling things - but you'll spot it coming a mile away.

The poor ending doesn't spoil the film as it was sort of inevitable... I kept hoping it wouldn't go there, but it did...

    'My Week With Marilyn'

Thoroughly enjoyed it and Michelle Williams was excellent as Marilyn.
