It reminded me a little of Godot and Mrs Z was very frustrated by the end, but I liked it.

I loved it, but then I loved the first one too. So many little visual and verbal jokes to look out for and a far few mini parodies from other films/shows.

Cracking fun.

found the murder side of it very unpleasant and very powerfull, but I was annoyed by all the Salvidor Dali stylee Heaven sequences. Allright I get it Mr.SFX Man, you can do CGI but enough is enough!

I watched this movie when it was shown on TV last week. Having read the book I was interested to watch how it translated from book to film and I thought Peter Jackson's movie did the book justice. I too thought the depiction of Heaven was to surreal and CGI orientated ... the book's description of Heaven is so much better.
Overall, I'd give it 8/10
