That's rather good Clare - you have a nice voice (liked the little harmony bit). The song is well structured, has a foot tapping rhythm and decent lyrics. I think a short guitar solo would have been nice - not shreddy, but more melodic indie style. A minor point though.

Clare, I agree with the others here who have said it's your' best offering to date and I also, can only agree that you sound more 'relaxed and confident in your vocals. I enjoyed the song, the melody was catchy, it was well paced and the harmonies worked well.

And if you're looking for comparisons, the lyrics and 'bounce' of the song seemed to suggest a Kirstie McColl influence............. and that's no bad thing in my book

Thanks dilbert! Aside from the obvious tracks, I don't really know a great deal of Kirstie McColl tracks, but I was always a fan if her style and vocal delivery on those tracks I do know. I'll have to spend some time listening to more of her stuff.
