What did you use to film it? Ive been looking at stuff filmed on iphones and rather amazed by their picture quality. Our sax player has an iphone and his wife is a photographer ...hmmm...

Haha! I have no idea, on both counts! It was for a TV programme, so they had their own kit.

We seem to have a strange thing going on with lighthouses - we were playing right underneath Hook lighthouse in Co. Wexford, Ireland las weekend, which is massive, and allegedly one of the oldest in the world. We went for a tour of the inside and it was quite stunning - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hook_lighthouse if you enjoy geeking on lighthouses!

Ahh, amazing how the gap between pro gear and home gear is narrowing though.


Loads of old lighthouses across the British Empire had the lamps made in the Black Country. The reflectors are lead crystal and they would cost a fortune to make these days.
I can give this a tortuous link back to guitars though! My mate Richard runs one of 2 companies in the UK specializing in lead crystal repairs and he is one of the people behind diamond bottleneck slides...

Thank you. Aye they're both really nice, the camp one is a DiPinto Belvedere Deluxe, and the Tele is a Japanese of some sort I think.
