Default Sampletank 2XL vs Roland XV-5080

I need a BIG sound library and know that both these do...

Which would you say has the best 'quality' of instruments/features?

    Cheers

Got to say that the XV will rip the ass right out of most sound module options and in my humble opinion just about all soft VSTi.

I've got a 5050 and its really really good.
We've just completed a 5 track mini album for Glasgow rockers "Attica Rage" check out a couple of the tracks here:

    XV5080 is soft! :rotfl:
It has it's own little box , right , so you don't have to put it into a puter.

isnt the eastwest orchestra platinum better than the XV5050 in terms of acoustic instruments? they say that theyre the only ones to capture instruments at 24bit!!!

i dont need non-acoustic instruments from a sound module as i have some good synths

Id have to agree - the amount of patches on this is very large.
And the acoustic instrument patches are particularly good.
