Default Robert Plant Guitar charidee auction

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Ibanez-Electro...#ht_678wt_1139

This is very vaguely connected to me ( or I to it) so I thought my charitable act for today would be posting the link on here.

Also some useful clues for anyone who was thinking of stalking Robert Plant but not done any research as yet...

He's always coming to the open mic nights at my local (somewhere in the Wyre Forest area of Worcestershire). Never does a turn though.

He lives somewhere near Arley which is pretty much by you.The guitar in the auction was shown/played by a local band at Arley Fest this weekend just gone. I didn't see all the bands across the weekend but Seth Lakeman did a sterling job on friday night. Nice little festival though, hope it goes ahead next year.

I did see Bobby once whilst ten pin bowling, he bowled ( not very well) in the lane next to us. This was in Brierley Hill - pretty mega grot bit of the West Midlands. Lots of people I know have their how they saw Robert Plant stories . Quite an accessible bloke considering how famous he is.

Our other guitarist didn't listen to Zep for ages after Plant nicked his parking space at a supermarket once

But, hey, Robert Plant drives to a supermarket - bet David Coverversion doesn't do that...

I often see him around Kidderminster & whilst he wouldn't thank you for going up to him & asking for an autograph/photo etc for a mega rock star he's pretty unassuming.
