Zoom H2
Anyone got one of these. I'm looking at buying one to record my guitar lessons with ( got to be better than cassette tape ) I've found them new for £119 on ebay. Seems to be the cheapest place.

I will hopefully be getting one myself as I'm told they are a solid little unit with good quality mics for the budget. I need mine for location recording I plan on doing.
The H4, which was about £200 ish can be got for £130 now. Our engineer brought one to the gig last night to try it out. Recording quality wise you get the choice of low mp3 quality right up to 24 bit 96Khz, the thing only came with a 256Mb card but he brought a 2 Gig card for his.
Only problem I could see is the menues, my eyes are average but I could hardly see the writing it's so small!
i have a H4 and its very good, gives you the option to use external mics or directly plug instruments in. Can also be used as an interface for your pc.

The only reason I was going for the H2 rather than the H4 was that it seemed easier to use, and I probably won't use the extra bits on the H4.
People seem pretty happy with it so GAS on the way then. :lol: :lol:
