    Default Bass Synth

What is a good soft synth for producing bass?

All the ones I've used have Bass sounds that require prolonged notes (are they called evolving textures or something?!).

Anyway, something that doesn't necessarily have to sound like a bass guitar but can be used with a quick sequence of notes and produces low frequencies....

I like the free vst. Bizune. Its got some nice presets, but some of the noises Iv made out that are very exciting.

You could get all kinds of things depending on your budget... which is what? I can get some really great bass sounds out of the V Station, the virtual bass station is cheaper but equally as cool.

Or get yourself a microkorg and play it

V-Station looks interesting, and I've also found this:

    Bass Station.

I'll do a bit of research, cheers! 8)

Actually I thought I should add, something that does dirty, deep as hell electro-style bass would also be useful!

Use the Bass Station. Almost every bassline in my music, on my site down there, uses that.

I love it. Also try the V station, Albino, or Absynth.

    Cheers

I love albino (from the demo) - it's the only 'premium' plugin I've nearly bought (usually use freebies)
