Did you know you're on Newton Faulkner's Wikipedia page?

This method of playing also shows heavily in the work of Jon Gomm and Pete Wailes, although with a slightly different feel in both.

Maybe you should edit the page and make it a link.. might get some traffic 8)

Finally, my dream come true. I can retire.

Seriously - cheers for letting me know! Not sure what to make of it, I've never heard of the other guy they mention alongside me. I've gotta be honest, I don't think Mr Faulkner is really carrying forward the baton of aternative guitar playing - his stuff is very very simple. Compared to Mr Roche, for example. There are a lot of players out there far more interesting muscially or technically.

He's a pop star who's quite good at guitar.

I've only heard his singles though. WHich i don't like.

Also, he had a ghost writer for much of his album apparently - Crispin Hunt (formerly of the Longpigs). Newton and Crispin - it's like a rowing team at Eton.

    Anyway..................

maybe I'll see him live one day and all will be revealed.
I have a website on the internet, it is pure awesome. www.jongomm.com Only available on the internet.

Disappointing. I've always looked up to Goji as my own personal style guru, and now he's coming out with statements like that.

He'll be wearing Pringle and playing golf with Mags next.
