It's not bad, but it's a horrible colour and shape.

Danelectro are good people, really. The stuff they put out should be TERRIBLE for those prices, but they're actually not bad at all soundwise..

..I did put my foot through one of their pedals while getting a bit excited at a band practice when trying to turn it on though.

The Fabtone is BIG and made of metal - it's not one of the mini range. Very, very solid indeed.

hey, Dot-dot-dot, what do you make of the Caitlinbread booster pedal? Is it like a sweet treble booster or just more of a booster? Does it add gain or clean signal?

It's definitely not a clean booster - it adds some spiky dirt and gets dirtier as it gets louder. Nice pedal but I've barely used it.

I may be going soft in the head, but i`m seriously tempted by that BDI21, The blurb on Behringers site says it`s some sort of moddeler as well, but i can`t make out any moddeling options on their picture :? I`m just off to check my piggy bank anyway.

It's not really a modeller per se, but it sort of replaces having an amp. It does the job extremely well but the Hartke works on phantom power and is thus less faff.

Hmm.......it's tempting. I'm gonna read up on it a little.

Can I ask why you barely used it? Perhaps you didn't like something about it?

I got it in a trade (for an EQ pedal). I tried it, thought "Hmm. That might be useful for something" and put it aside. That was a few months ago.

I don't use dirty amps so the boost-y-ness of it isn't much use to me. The dirt isn't bad but is a bit spikier and brasher than I normally go for. It's probably very good into a dirty amp but I've not tried that. ops:

All the stuff here is for sale because I've not found myself using it much. None of it is broken or rubbish, it's just not grabbed me enough to make it into my normal signal chain.
