    I am considering getting a flange, want to spend less than £40 and has to have a metal case, so what do people reckon are good'uns

    What about Fraz's one? You could always buy one of the autowah/envelope filters I'm selling for £40 and swapsie that for his chorus/flanger. It's like musical chairs, only with pedals.

    ebay has new Digitech Turbo Flangers for just less than that delivered iirc
    Red ones are better.

    I would consider buying a flanger for all your airplane-type noises. I was gonna say for all your flange needs, but that just isn't true.
