This is Ruby (actually a boy) who is a regular visitor at our North Yorkshire Retreat:

He has a splendid fur coat.

Strange name for a he-cat though.

Our Vicar's cat was called Lambert. That was his name before they moved here. Funnily enough our parish church is "The church of St Mary and St Lambert". I like the idea of a church named after the vicar's cat

Tim (our neighbour there) found him as a six-week old kitten when he was out shooting. Gill, his wife, thought he was a girl by his face, and he did look like a queen when we first saw him.

Those pictures are about 8 months old, he's fuller in the face now.

It's a good job we both know that "queen" refers to a she-cat especially a she-cat of the mate-able kind, otherwise the inference might be that Ruby is gay

A nonchalant paw hangs, eye’s shut, ears open
My sentimental pretence maintains your interest
You do not know my cruelty, my brutality, my malice
Your sustaining hand is safe…for now

Lithe shoulders slink in alternate motion
Unblinking, gyroscopic saucer eyes bore into my target
Locked on, committed, beyond recall, the safety is off
A spring now uncoiled, scribes an arc, sudden death from above

I gaze through you, aloof and unimpressed
A carefree yawn, a stretch then, back to murderous fantasy
Surgically sharp, speed and precision is my marque
I am death, the consummate killer…Oh, my name?

    …It’s Tiddles

My name is Connor and I have a GAS problem.

I also have some videos of myself playing guitar. Here they are.

See the other picture - with the beer (made by me incidentally) - Fidel (female, 99% of tortoiseshells are) looks small because she was wet - the tail gives it away.

    Nixon was also a queen.
