Default (price drop)Martamp(MJW)6V6 18/36w roadstar combo Emminence Wizard

    (price drop £450)
Due to probable buy of another martamp, am reluctantly having to sell these. first is my 18/36 6v6 hand built
It's a Standard Roadastar combo with 'Volume', 'Tone' and '18/36' controls. The latter i believe takes 2 output valves out of the circuit. It has JJ 6V6S valves in the output, and a valve rectifier. It's a terrific sounding amp, with a strat/tele it's clean up to about half way on the volume, then the poweramp drive comes in. Flat out this baby sings!

It has 8/16 ohm outputs. The internal speaker is a 16ohm Emminence Wizard.(based on g12h I believe)

The amp is in near perfect condition, has been gigged (have put up against loud drummer and louder guitarist with 50w never really needed to go much above 18w). It's always been kept in it's Roqsolid cover, which will obviously be sold with the amp.

pic borrowed but can do more if needed

    (Plexi sold)

Amp PRICE DROP £450 Guitar prefer collection but can drive or post live in NE in Hull

Hi Duesy, I'm more into a loud and clean ( or a bit of crunch ) type sound. Don't know if you've ever heard an Ampeg J20 ( based on a 2x 6v6 brown-face Deluxe ) but I wonder if it's like that but with more headroom ? cheers

Not heard the j20, but this amp goes from sweet cleans to crunch. Very touch sensitive you have, for example if turned up to crunch you hit hard lovely drive back of playing or vol a bit into cleans again. Has plent of headroom even more if u put all 4 valves in 36W. Live I never really needed to put in 36W. Takes pedals very well too (if hadn't bought another MJW wouldn't be selling) if your in ne can come and try
