    Never played one BUT - if there was another name on the headstock - would they be still worth the price

    Street price of under a grand...no-one makes a better J-45 clone for the money i.m.o.

    My biggest regret is ever getting rid of my J-45, but I needed the cash and it was the most expensive item I had at the time.

    Yes from new they are stiif/tight, but they really do open up after about 6 months.

    Buy one, you won't regret it.
