Default Fender Sonoran SCE - any good

    Hi all,

I'm between beginner and intermediate, and thinking of changing my clunking aria dreadnought to something a bit 'easier' to play. Its got too high an action, and would rather put the cost of lowering it towards a new one.

I've seen some good write ups of the Fender Californian Series Sonoran SCE.

    http://www.soundslive.co.uk/product~...rs~ID~7645.asp

It seems its got a thinner (electric style) neck, and generally plays more like an electric.

has anyone got one? Haven't been able to track any down in the guitar shops in central London.

    Any comments, or alternatives welcome!

    thanks

    Nick

I've never heard a Fender acoustic I've liked ...the budget ones are particularly crappy imo. You'd be better off going for a Vintage or Crafter acoustic for that sort of money...both well made and excellent value for money.
I'm fed up with people joking about dyslexia. It's not big and it's not furry.

nah, go and try one anyway, the sonorans (esp. the custom colors) look very cool, no idea if theyre any good or not as ive not yet played one but give one a go!

ps, most of the fender acoustics ive played over the last couple of years have surprised me in a good way

definitely going to try it - who wouldn't want a guitar in candy apple red...

    (don't all shout at once)

having trouble finding one to try tho - have tried the shops in around Denmark St in London, and no luck

    1. Buy can of silver spray paint

    2. Apple to Taylor 214

    3. Stand back and admire your Inca Silver Taylor 214
