    Arrow Looking for Audio Equipment

    Hello,

I don't know a lot about different mixers and other stuff, but I'm looking for the following.

At the moment I have 4 stereo (3.5mm jack's) as input coming from my laptop, PC, mp3 player and something for the future (you never know). Now I also have 3 3.5mm jack's output going to different speakers.

The first one are for my computer speakers (with there own amplifier and bassbox), the second one goes to a amplifier (from the mid 80's) and then to 2 big pioneer boxes and the last one goes to my old stereo's line in (witch also has an internal amplifier).

Now I need a device so I can connect any input with any output, I don't need to be able to mix 2 input to 1 output, but I should be able to send 1 input to the 3 outputs.

So what device can I use? I don't need high end sound quality just something easy that will work. Also looking for a cheap solution.

    Thanks!

you need a matrix mixer. Behringer MON800 should do the trick. You may need a few new leads, but that't not the end of the world.

I use a Behringer RX1602 in front of my audio input - so I can select 1-16 devices (and combinations if I want).

Computer out from PC and Mac go to my old Cambridge Audio CD & Aux/MD inputs - so I can switch between them.

Yes, that Behringer MON800 seems to fit the bill but I note that it uses a combination of 1/4" jack and RCA connectors so you will have to rationalize your leads accordingly. No bad thing since 1/8"-3.5mm jacks are pretty naff things.

Best to standardize on RCA-RCA leads and then use RCA to jack adaptors where needed. Don't pay Maplin prices for leads and adaptors, checkout www.cpc.co.uk
