Vox were a touch too loud on the night for my liking but we're always getting told to turn Adele up so the devil in me came out and I probably cranked her up a bit too far.

Will try and get better clips next time. I might even mic up the amp at a gig and record it to see how it sounds.

    No you wont!

Btw, I played through a DT-25 yesterday at a shop. It wasn't actually that bad. The cleans were really full and round. The high-gain stuff sucked balls though in my opinion.

Soz for the spanish inquisition Kev but I'm trying to remember why you sold this in the end - was it just the urge to go back to the JVM, or something more specific? And how did you feel the amp was on it's own without the extra models from the HD?

Default Gigging with HD500/DT25 and loving it!

    Hey Guys,

Just wanted to check in and let you know my experiences with the HD500/DT25 system. I've been gigging with it since late March, and it's taken me a while to get the tones I've been looking for. However, I now have a few patches dialed in that sound awesome for both the stage tone I get out of the amp itself, and also for the audience tone I get out of the PA using the direct out on the back of the DT25.

I've been able to get good clean tones before, using my old Egnater rig, but this is the very first time I've been able to get the kind of killer distortion tones I need as the only guitar player in the band. It's really pretty amazing to me what this little thing can do. And it's so compact and easy to set up using the L6-link system. I don't use any other pedals except for a tuner and a voicebox. I have experimented with some other equipment since buying the Line 6 system, such as a Zoom G5, but I haven't found anything that I like better than the HD500/DT25...in fact, to my ears, nothing else even comes close.
